This creature is made of stone and can change it's shape to fit it's surrondings. For example, in a dungeon it would shape itself to look like a block in the wall. They range in size from 1ft. to 3ft. square. Their lifespan is about 250 years.

Combat: Black goblins tecnically avoid combat, choosing to rather bargain with the person for spells, potions, scrolls, and other magical items. Sometimes they will join passing adventurings in search of more spells, which they keep in a magical spellbook which weighs about 5 pounds, but can contain an almost unlimited supply of spells.
These creatures are able to blend in with there surroundings to the point that even creatures that live underground can only spot them on a 1 or 2 on a d6. They have specially adapted tongues that can shapechange into various items to catch the intended prey's attention, such as a key for a human, or a peice of carrion for insects. It then sits still (still as stone) with it's mouth open and waith for some foolish creature to crawl or stick a hand/paw in its mouth so it can bite down with its amazing strength, most often separating a hand from its arm. It then spends about a day digesting its meal.
Special attack- Any druid that tryes to cast stonespeak on this creature must roll a systems shock at 1/2 or pass out for 1d6 turns and takes 1d4pts. damage. If save is made, the druid only takes 1d2 pts. damage.

Habitat: They are solitary creatures, and will usually not live within 100yds of another.

Ecology: They are asexual and produce about one offspring a year. As soon as one is born in fully capable of fending for itself and leaves the parent to find its own hunting ground.
