One out of every few million goblins is a black goblin. When black goblins do occur, they are treated as gods. Black goblins are shorter than normal
goblins and have a nose about half their size.
Combat: Black goblins tecnically avoid combat, choosing to rather bargain with the person for spells, potions, scrolls, and other magical items.
Sometimes they will join passing adventurings in search of more spells, which they keep in a magical spellbook which weighs about 5 pounds, but can contain an
almost unlimited supply of spells.
Habitat: Black goblins have no real society and spend their lives searching the realms for magic items (which they store in magical sacks of holding), reagents and spells (which they copy from scrolls or from other spellbooks, into their own).
They carry all their supplies with them and usually use all of the items, which usually include magic carpets, magical staves and wands, rings, scraps of armor and weapons.
Ecology: Black goblins live for about 100 years, except when they find spells and potions, which can expand their lifetimes. Their are reports about a black goblin who is about 4000 years old!   Submitted By: Trevor Salzyn |
